The Anteka are wild, Elk-like monsters found in the Snowy Mountains. They are commonly perceived as the snowy region's counterpart to the Kelbi in the forests and jungle regions. Anteka are territorial when provoked and will often retaliate by charging attackers with their antlers. They are prized for their High-quality Pelt and Antlers. Their pelts and antlers are used in many beginner armor sets, and they are easy to acquire. They also give out White Livers, special items that are given at the end of a quest in exchange for Pokke Points. Anteka return in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, inhabiting the Tundra.
